When I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was take pictures. I watched my grandfather take pictures with his Canon AE-1 film camera and I was simply amazed. I had my heart set on becoming a photographer. My grandfather picked it up as a hobby and he would photograph old antiques for insurance purposes, old barns, and on occasion, people. When I picked up the camera, if you couldn’t talk back to me or smile, I didn’t want to take the picture. I was the complete opposite! I wanted nothing to do with the old barns, antiques, or product photography while I was in school at Nossi College of Art. I excelled in portrait photography. I love capturing emotion. Relationship. Connection. That is what makes a great family photo! I make it my goal while going into each session to capture a little ones personality. A mother’s love. A father’s playfulness with his kids. All of this is what makes my business what it is. Captured By KLea runs on love. It continues to do well each year because of love. The love I have for the art and the love that my clients have for their families.

Hi. I’m Kristin. And I would love to capture some wonderful memories for you and your family!
